Team Germany Sports – World and European Champion 2021

We proudly present the results from 2021 of our Ravenol Pro Waterskiers and Team Germany Waterski athletes.

We got 3 World Champion gold medals, 3 European gold medals, 2 Euopean silver medals and one European bronze medal.

Nate Smith reached:

  • – World Champion title in Slalom
  • – US Open Champion in Slalom
  • – US National Champion in Slalom
  • – 2nd place at the US Masters in Slalom
  • – 1st place at the Hilltop ProAM in Slalom
  • – 1 st place at the Mastercraft ProAM in Slalom
  • – 1st place at the Pan American in Slalom
  • – 1st place at the Malibu Open in Slalom

Anna Gay reached:

  • – World Champion title in Trick
  • – 1st place at the US Masters in Trick
  • – 1st place at the US National in Trick
  • – AWSA Trick Skier of the year 2021

Giannina Bonnemann reached:

  • – European Champion in Trick
  • – European Champion in Overall (Slalom, Trick and Jump)
  • – US Open Champion in Trick
  • – 2nd place at the European Championships in Jump
  • – 1st place at the RedBull Austrian Open in Overall (Slalom, Trick and Jump)

Sean Hunter reached:

  • – World Champion title in Slalom U21

Tim Wild reached:

  • – European Champion title in Slalom U14
  • – 1st place at the German Nationals in Slalom U14
  • – 1st place at the German Nationals in Trick U14
  • – 1st place at the German Nationals in Overall (Slalom, Trick and Jump) U14
  • – 1st place at the German Nationals in Open Tricks

Emily Wenzel reached:

  • – 2nd place at the European Championships in Jump U17
  • – 3rd place at the European Championships in Overall (Slalom, Trick and Jump) U17

Leny Wenzel reached:

World Championship 2021 – Waterski, in Florida / USA

We are super proud of our team athletes to won three World Championship titles in Waterski 2021:

– Nate Smith World Champion 2021 in Waterski Slalom.

– Anna Gay World Champion 2021 in Waterski Trick.

– Sean Hunter World Champion 2021 in Waterski U21 Slalom.

2021, a season of three World Champions and accomplishments for our team.

European Championships 2021 – Waterski in Agrinio – Hellas / Greece

Our Pro team athlete Giannina Bonnemann from Dortmund / Germany got 2 gold medals and titles at the Europeans Championships 2021 in Greece.

– 1 gold medal in Open Trick
– 1 gold medal in Overall in Jump, Trick and Slalom
– 1 silver medal in Jump

Now we are preparing for the next coming big events:

– World WaterSkiers, the Austrian Open at 7th and 8th of August 2021
– US Open in Waters Edge Wilmington, USA at 12th and 13th of August
– Waterski World Championships in Lake Country / Florida, USA from 11th to 17th of October 2021

German Nationals 2021 Waterski

We are proud of our athletes and their achievements at the German Nationals 2021. They got 17 x gold medals.

– Tim Wild: 1 x gold medal in Open Trick

– Lara Brummel: 6 x gold medals in U21 and Open in Trick, Slalom and Jump

– Leny Wenzel: 4 x gold medals in U14 in Trick, Slalom and Jump

– Emily Wenzel: 6 x gold medals in U17 and Open in Trick, Salom and Jump.

Now everyone is preparing for the European Youth Championships in Sesena / Spain and the World Youth Championships in Santa Rosa Beach / Florida, USA.

US Masters 2021

Very successful weekend for the Ravenol Pro Waterskiers Team at the most prestigious waterski tournament of the year. The 61st Masters, Callaway Gardens GA/USA.
Anna Gay won gold medal in women’s Tricks.
Giannina Bonnemann won the bronze medal in woman´s Tricks and got the 4th place in women´s Jump.
Nate Smith won the silver medal in men´s Slalom together with Will Asher.
Sean Hunter getting very close to making the finals in men’s Slalom.
