Our Pro team athlete Giannina Bonnemann from Dortmund / Germany got 2 gold medals and titles at the Europeans Championships 2021 in Greece.
– 1 gold medal in Open Trick – 1 gold medal in Overall in Jump, Trick and Slalom – 1 silver medal in Jump
Now we are preparing for the next coming big events:
– World WaterSkiers, the Austrian Open at 7th and 8th of August 2021 – US Open in Waters Edge Wilmington, USA at 12th and 13th of August – Waterski World Championships in Lake Country / Florida, USA from 11th to 17th of October 2021
Very successful weekend for the Ravenol Pro Waterskiers Team at the most prestigious waterski tournament of the year. The 61st Masters, Callaway Gardens GA/USA. Anna Gay won gold medal in women’s Tricks. Giannina Bonnemann won the bronze medal in woman´s Tricks and got the 4th place in women´s Jump. Nate Smith won the silver medal in men´s Slalom together with Will Asher. Sean Hunter getting very close to making the finals in men’s Slalom.
Carlotta is 21 years old. Unlike everyone would think, coming from Dortmund (Germany), Carlotta is a talented young athlete from a passionate waterski family. She basically grew up on the water next to her brother (Kim) and two sisters (Giannina and Chiara). Together, they traveled all around Europe to find the best training spots and later on became known, in the competitive ski world, as the Bonnemann sisters by winning a „silver team medal at the U21 European Championship“ (2015). Not only is she a „multiple-time national champion“ but a „bronze medalist at the European Youth Championships“ in 2015.
Congrats to our ProSkiers, they did an amazing job. Nate Smith won the OpenSlalom and the Nightslalom title. Anna Gay finished second in trick. We are proud of our athletes. And we look forward to the next big events: the Swiss ProAM in Clermont Swiss Waterski Resort/USA and the Masters Water Ski Tournament Atlanta Gallaway Gardens/USA.
